Even though embarking on their maiden continental adventure, Crystal Palace are learning very quickly. Missing star figures like forward Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles left Dublin with a commanding result that all but guarantees them a place in the Europa Conference League playoffs.
Another victory in their next fixture against Finnish KuPS should be enough to secure straight passage to the last 16, particularly following a previous stumble against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Grasp the Moment
This occasion offered a chance for several Palace's lesser-used players to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start after arriving on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical finish. Striker Eddie Nketiah added a second, scoring for the second game in succession.

The match was as good as over eight minutes from half-time. Yeremy Pino meandered past a series of weak challenges before calmly slotting a shot past goalkeeper Wessel Speel to extend the lead to 3-0.
After the break, coach Oliver Glasner seized the opportunity to rest key players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring with his very first touch, but saw his shot blocked.
The youngster was incredibly unlucky later on, seeing one attempt strike off each posts before being clasped on the line. Uche also missed a glaring chance, showing there is still room for improvement in his game.
The only concern for Palace was a late knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This allowed 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, capping an otherwise positive evening for the traveling side.
