Amazing $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

Following a short availability back in April, this cartography software collection is back for a limited time that lasts through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company over the years, the entire collection is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. The Main Attraction

Bundle Tiers

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Source Maps: Castles!, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, over twenty-five aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-item bundle for at least $15 is where things get more interesting by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. The Annual represents the annual collection from the company's ongoing subscription program which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

All 17 volumes from the Annual series are included here, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, cities, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The sole limitation is that while the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable on Windows.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, a portion of each sale goes to benefit a nonprofit. In this instance, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response.
